February is American Heart Month

We’re all love this month! February is a time for letting the ones you love know how you feel – but rather than just letting them know how you feel, what about making sure they are living their healthiest life possible to ensure they’re around for many decades to come?

Heart health is important and recent studies have shown that exposure to prolonged cold improves your Cardiovascular health! Whole Body Cryotherapy helps to boost freshly oxygenated throughout the body, which causes the heart to pump harder, thusly increasing your cardiovascular health! Additionally, Whole Body Cryotherapy burns up to 800 calories within 3 minutes, helping to reduce fat and increase weight loss – which can also improve your cardiovascular health too!

In addition to Whole Body Cryotherapy, some simple things you can do to help your cardiovascular health are:

  • Reducing your daily intake of sodium/salt
  • Exercising more frequently and incorporating more cardio intense workouts
  • Cooking more meals at home
  • Going for a short walk after eating
  • Eat at least 5 servings of fruit and vegetables a day
  • Limit consumption of alcohol
  • Quitting smoking

Take a look at some of the statistics below regarding heart health:
